3 races in 3 days!

Thornbury 10k, Nailsea 10k and The Cotswold Way Relay

Clevedon AC members were out in force over the last few days at great local events.

On Thursday evening Polly Atherton, Laura Meech and Steve Wood raced at the Thornbury 10k – an undulating route on country roads around Oldbury.

Well done to Steve who picked up the 1st V50 prize.

Friday evening saw the Beer & Banger 10k, a 2- lap course hosted by Nailsea RC; great running from Jemma Lewis and Chris Davies.

On Saturday a team of 10 runners competed in the Cotswold Way Relay. Kieran McManus led the mixed team off at 7am from Chipping Camden, with the next 9 stages covered by Matt Crocker, Nick Hides, Matt Evans, Frankie Crozier, Rob Grubb, Helen Ball, Tom Abrahams and Laura Clapp. Steph James completed the 102-mile combined distance, finishing for the team at Bath Abbey.

Well done all – a tremendous team effort!
