Club training nights are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the year

Whether you have just starting running, are coming back to it or looking to improve, training with Clevedon AC provides regular and varied sessions to help you reach your goals. Twice weekly training, held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, is provided by our EA qualified and experienced coaches and designed for all abilities. We make the most of the fantastic variety of terrain that Clevedon has to offer, including on and off-road sessions and use of a grass track over the Summer.

The training plans focus on key team events that the club are involved in during the year, including races such as the epic Welsh Castles Relay in June and the Gloucester Cross Country Series over the Winter. Members are encouraged to take part in as many team events as possible – they are a great training goal and always a tremendous experience!

Additional training sessions are incorporated at various times over the year, such as Saturday morning cross country training and group Sunday runs. If you are aiming for a particular target our coaches are also able to help with individual training plans, offering advice and support along the way.

We also offer a weekly Bootcamp aimed at building strength, mobility and resilience; helping you to train more consistently without injury.
