Westonbirt House 10k and Shapwick Bunny Hop
The Easter Bunny featured strongly at races this weekend!
Theresa Goldstone took part in the Westonbirt House Easter 10k on Good Friday – a nice 2-lap loop around the grounds. Theresa enjoyed the tarmac course, finishing in 48:27, taking home a medal containing a chocolate surprise
5 club members headed down to Somerset this morning for the Shapwick Bunny Hop, a 7.5 mile trail race. Hosted by Street Striders the course is mostly off-road and includes a couple of miles beside the scenic wetlands at Shapwick Nature Reserve. Steph was first back for the club followed by Adrian, Sally, Kerry & Laura who all went home with a bottle of local cider as a race memento.
