Great running at the Thornbury 10k

Results from Thornbury 10k, Thursday 14th July

Great running from Tom Abrahams and Fran Rawlings at the Thornbury 10k on Thursday night.

A new course for this year starts and finishes in Oldbury on Severn with a climb for the first kilometre before flattening into a fast route. Conditions on the night were warm with a gentle breeze.

From the first few strides Fran and Tom ran side-by-side and finished within seconds of each other:

Tom, 14th position in 39:10, Fran, 15th position and 2nd lady in 39:13.
