Race Round Up!

Great results over the last few weeks

It’s been a busy few weeks of competition with Clevedon AC members representing the club at several events, both close to home and overseas.

Congratulations to Beth & Leo who both had great results at the Rome Marathon in March.

Last Saturday saw 2 teams head up to the Midlands Road Relays in Sutton Park – everyone put in fantastic efforts, resulting a move up the placings for both teams compared to last year. A wonderful achievement against strong competition from across the Midlands and South West.

The next day was the Forest of Dean Trails Half Marathon, a popular event in the race calendar. 10 members took part, with Jo Gallagher home first for the club, picking up an age group prize.

Yesterday saw the return of the Bristol Track Club 5k Race Day – a fast, flat course around the Odd Down Cycle circuit in Bath. The course offers great PB potential and it did not disappoint last night with several best times achieved by Clevedon runners. Results can be found here:
