Gwent XC Fixture

The 4th fixture of the Gwent Cross Country League took place at Chepstow Racecourse on the 7th February.

Held on the grounds inside the race track, the recent level of rainfall ensured particularly muddy conditions! All the Clevedon AC teams made it safely around the course, with 11 ladies and 15 men taking part.

Congratulations to Kerry Firth, who was first home for the ladies in 27th position, claiming 2nd W45, and to Jack Richardson who led the men over the line in 41st place. It was also great to see new member Katie Manfield representing the club for the first time.

It’s been a great XC season so far, with all to play for in the team rankings at the final fixture later this month.
