Weekend Race Results

Frome Running Festival and Porthcawl 5k

There was great racing over the weekend from club members in Somerset and Wales.

At the Frome Running Festival, Steve Lambert ran the Half Marathon and Theresa Goldstone competed in the 10k distance. Both courses started and finished at the Old Showfield and took runners on a hilly route through the historic town centre. Theresa was pleased to finish 2nd in her age category in 52:44. Steve had another good half, achieving 4th in his age group in 2:06:40.

Over in Wales, Yvette Loxton was all set for the Porthcawl Aquathlon. Unfortunately the sea swim was cancelled but the 5k run went ahead – a hot and windy race!
